Il Carugio is situated in the old village of Volastra ( in latin Vicus Oleaster: the town of olive trees ), one of the oldest villages of the Cinque Terre National Park, a place where sea, sky and vineyards get together offering one of the most beautiful panoramas on the sea.

Our name is linked to local traditions. Carugio in local dialect stands for the narrow shady streets, typical of all sea villages.  

The apartment is in the centre of Volastra and is the best solution for a quiet holiday in Cinque Terre: a place near the sea where you can enjoy outdoor activities.

Volastra is the main hiking path cross-roads in Cinque Terre. Many signalled paths (with different difficulty level) pass through Volastra leading you to marvellous landscapes.
